Victim Support provides a service to help those involved on the receiving end of unlawful activity to be supported in receiving help and compensation .
The local office is based in an office in the Kirkintilloch Police station although it has no formal links to the Police Force.
They can provide help in preparing for trials, filling forms and receiving compensation.
